is well endowed with different attractions to meet your holiday

green fertile plateaus, birds & animals in an unspoilt wilderness
and a vast inland network of water bodies where you can experience:-
White water rafting.

In this water adventure tour to Uganda, you can't miss seeing Lake
Victoria which is the largest lake in Africa and second largest
fresh water lake in the world. This lake is the source of the longest
river (Nile) in the world. The Nile travels a distance of 6500km
or for 3months between leaving Lake Victoria (Jinja) flowing into
the Mediterranean Sea.
The
wildlife in Uganda is superb, the ten National Parks offer a variety
of animals and you cannot fail to see 'the big five'! The country
is landlocked and rather smaller than the United Kingdom but it
has great beauty, wonders and is specifically gifted in terms of
vegetation cover: - these range from semi -deserts, rich savanna,
montane forests, wetlands and afro- alpine zones. These habitats
support a diversity of bird species, providing roosting, feeding
and breeding areas. It has been noted that Uganda has more bird
species per square kilometer than any African country. The country's
location at almost the centre of the continent attracts more migrants
from the North and South than its neighbouring countries. The national
bird list is over 1000 plus including the endangered shoebill, Uganda's
only endemic fox's weaver and other key species like Kivu Thrush,
White Winged Warbler, African Pitta, Rwenzori Turaco, Papyrus Canary,
Rwenzori Batis, Papyrus Gonolek, African Green Broadbill etc. |
